Overview

Betalningshjälpen is an initiative by Mastercard Sweden to help the elderly and newcomers understand and use digital payments. The website needed an update, and this led to the creation of Betalningshjälpen 2.0.

About project

While working at Dentsu, I was responsible for updating Mastercard’s Nordic web pages in their CMS and building new pages with content. Betalningshjälpen already existed but needed to be refreshed, so we decided to rebuild the site completely. This meant reorganizing the content, links, and page structure to make everything clear and easy to use.

The prototype and content were created by Humblestorm, while I was the only developer working on the project. Though it was challenging to work alone, I received a lot of support from customer service and tech teams in India, which helped me get through the project. It was a great learning experience.

My role

I started by using the prototype provided in Figma and then built the website in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), a content management system. Working within the CMS meant that I couldn’t always implement every feature from the prototype, so I had to do some hard coding to make certain elements work. Even though there were limitations, I successfully brought the project to life.
